Dale Kruetzer models the southern
half of the RGS in Sn3. Dale's layout is noted for its
spectacular backdrops. It is very difficult to tell
where the layout ends and the backdrops begin. The backdrops
are a series of digital photographs merged together and printed in a
continuous format. Dale took several trips to Colorado, to
photograph the locations, and worked with fellow modeler Glenn
Farley to produce the results shown in the photographs. Due to
the quality of the backdrops, the modeling in the foreground also
has to built to the highest standards. As can be seen, Dale is
up to the challenge! Dale's layout will be open during the
2012 Narrow Gauge Convention here in Seattle/Bellevue. |
