Steve's Mustang 5.0

1995 Mustang GT Convertible.  302 Cubic Inch small block V-8 with 5 speed manual transmission. 

Current modifications - Ford Racing E303 Cam, Edelbrock Performer Intake w/70mm Throttle Body, Edelbrock Performer Aluminum Cylinder Heads, C&L Maf w/Trueflow Inlet, BBK Headers, Bassani exhaust, Eibach Pro Kit, MSD Ignition, King Cobra Clutch, Hi-Flow water pump Cobra hood and front bumper.  Would you believe 20 mpg!!!!! (If you keep you foot out of it)

Brief History - The car was purchased in July of 2005 from the second owner.  The seller purchased it in 1997 from a local Ford dealer.  The car was unmolested, with 125,000 miles, having never been in an accident nor had any modifications been made.  I believe it is fully optioned with the exception of an automatic transmission. The asking price was $7.500.  It was purchased for $ 6,250.00.  The Edelbrock Performer intake and heads along with the C&L Inlet were purchased used on ebay.  A 1995 Cobra hood, Cobra front bumper and a rear seat cushion were also purchased used on ebay.  The  wheels, tires, shocks, springs and struts were purchased new on ebay.  All the other parts were purchased new from Summit Racing to include the cam, clutch, headers, ignition parts, water pump, timing chain, replacement hoses, thermostat, gaskets and filters.  The total cost of all the aftermarket parts is about $6,000.00.   The air conditioning has been removed but all the parts have been kept to facilitate reinstallation.  A breakdown of the actual component parts is listed below the photographs. 

According to Edelbrock, the cam, intake, cylinder heads, throttle body and exhaust are good for 300 street legal horsepower.  The stock engine puts out about 235 HP.
